Tim Duey built our custom home. His interest in our own design of our dream home combined with his suggestions, expertise and experience created a truly livable home we continue to enjoy. His patience, flexibility, and attention to detail were strong qualities. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Tim. As first time home-builders, we found Tim — and his entire team of skilled, qualified subcontractors — to be pleasant and respectful of our ideas and us. Our build was completed within budget and on schedule.

Tim Duey (and his brother and crew) completed our amazing, high end, Earth-Advantage-Certified home in 2009 (824 NW Columbia Street) with every bell and whistle we wanted, and did so ON TIME and UNDER BUDGET! This was a real first for us. We are very hands-on people and might be considered a nuisance by some builders, but our every attempt to save on costs was tolerated and every construction concern was addressed (even my very last minute demand to add skylights right before the roofing was set to start.) Other well-seasoned builders would drop by during the build and invariably complimented the workmanship (Tim happens to be among the best framers in the industry.) We now have a home that is so well built that our energy bills are tiny while our comfort levels, in hot or cold weather, are the envy of everyone we know. It was a great experience.
